SBS has been recognised for the slate of podcasts produced across its Audio and News teams, winning Publisher of the Year at the Australian Podcast Awards (APAs) in Sydney.
The broadcaster won gold in the Best Climate and Best Factual podcast categories, for
and
respectively, produced by SBS Audio.
Recognition at the APAs was a testament to the breadth of the network's podcast offerings, SBS Audio Director David Hua said.
"Our storytelling in over 60 languages informs and entertains audiences about the nation’s diverse communities, building widespread connection and understanding.
"It’s truly an honour to scoop up this trifecta win," Hua said.

The
series hosted by SBS News journalists Ricardo Gonçalves and Peggy Giakoumelos was a finalist in the Business category, while
, a six-part series exploring the nutritional value of food staples such as cheese and coffee, was a finalist in the Factual category.
, an English language learning service for Australian migrants was a finalist in the Education category.
Head of Language Content Davide Schiappapietra said: "SBS’s podcast slate not only helps grow awareness of the contribution of a diversity of cultures to Australian society, but critically speaks to the changing nature of contemporary Australia with people increasingly wanting to hear their stories and experiences reflected in the content they consume."
Everything We Need is a seven-part series featuring remote communities as they grapple with the impacts of climate change, worsening bushfire and flood risk, intense summer weather, food and water insecurity, and rising energy costs.
Host Kyla Brettle lauded the APAs for providing a platform for podcasts produced by "micro teams".
"It's like the fairy story is still possible in podcasting," she said, adding that the series was created "with a lot of love" from the state government and help from the SBS Audio team.
"The best thing about the award is being able to draw attention to the passionate, visionary and down-to-earth people I spoke with for the series and share some of the great work around climate adaptation that's happening in regional Victoria."

Grave Matters explores grief, death care and the business of dying with hosts Anthony Levin and Nadine J. Cohen.
Levin said he's been "bowled over" by the response to the podcast, which covered topics often taboo in Australian communities.
"It’s an absolute credit to SBS for creating the space for us to bring conversations about death to a wider audience.”
Ladies, We Need To Talk, an ABC podcast hosted by Yumi Stynes, took home Podcast of the Year and the Sex and Relationships category.
Nova Podcasts series First Things First was recognised in the Podcast Champion category for its focus on LGBTQIA+ and Indigenous topics.
The Pool Room with Tony Armstrong won Best Sport and Best Entertainment categories, while journalist Marc Fennell enjoyed wins in the Best History and the Spotlight categories for his series House of Skulls.
